Our Process

Your home is your nest, a safe and special place. That’s why hiring a contractor you can trust is so important. At Creative Integrity, we work to establish this trust right from the beginning of our clearly defined process. Five steps and no surprises - just transparency, professionalism, and superior craftsmanship the whole way through.

Project Discovery

We want to understand what is motivating your renovation and what success looks like to you. We want to hear about your home. What do you love about it? What doesn’t work for your immediate requirements? We invite you to complete our Project Discovery Form. Your honest feedback will help us understand your unique needs and determine if we’re the right fit for your project. We will then be in touch to schedule a free preliminary consultation. At the consultation, we take the time to review your plans and identify any surface level challenges and opportunities. We also do a feasibility assessment to determine if your plan aligns with your overarching goals and is supported by your budget.

Pre-Construction

At Creative Integrity, we don’t rush into construction. Our eight-step pre-construction process allows us to fully understand your objectives and map out a comprehensive plan for how best to achieve them. Detailed scopes of work, material lists, and quotes from our suppliers and vendors are only some of the things required to provide an accurate plan and financial structure for your project. We don’t want to guess. We want to get it right. This is why all of our projects begin with a commitment- a pre-construction agreement.

A pre-construction agreement enables us to dedicate our expertise and time to the planning and budgeting process right from the get-go. It is a small financial commitment, and it is fully credited back to your project if we proceed to the contract phase. The result: a meticulous plan, an accurate budget, and fewer surprises during construction.

Contract

This is the phase where we sign all the necessary documents and iron out the nitty gritty details. We acquire insurance certificates, obtain permits, and arrange for necessary site protections. We also officially place your project in our construction schedule.

Even in the best circumstances, renovations are disruptive. We want to minimize the upheaval. What are the alternative living arrangements? Are there any allergies or sensitivities? What are the available working hours and critical dates? As your guides throughout this process, we use the contract phase to consider these, and other, quality-of-life factors- ensuring as smooth a journey as possible.

Construction

At every step of the construction process our passionate and experienced team members and trade partners deliver superior craftsmanship and customer service. We do everything possible to create a positive experience for you. This includes communicating frequently and effectively. As our partner, you are empowered to be a part of the process. We use a cloud-based project management system that allows you to check in on the day-to-day progress of your project and to follow the costs, changes, and completion remotely.

Warranty

We take pride in what we do and stand behind our work. Every one of our projects is covered by a 2-year, limited warranty upon completion. Not quite sure if something in your home is performing properly? Let us know and we’ll get on it. You have invested in us and your home. We are invested in you and your satisfaction. We want to see how you are using and loving your beautiful new space. We will check in with you at points throughout your warranty period- a quick hello to make sure everything is working the way it should.
